Ultra Jacket Craftsman Interview x Carrie｜Feel the freedom of skiing

With the launch of the latest product in the global temperature control series, "Ultra Jacket", it immediately received positive feedback, and many viewers have been clamoring for it for almost a year since last year. In order to meet everyone’s expectations over the past year, TRANZEND has invited two heavyweights in Taiwan’s skiing world this year, one of whom is the founder of Snowman Ski School: Carrie.

It was because I met a group of friends who also loved skiing that I gradually fell in love with this sport; it was because I loved this sport that I had the desire to share the joy that this sport brings. Carrie not only teaches skiing postures and movements, she also hopes that every one of her students can experience the freedom of skiing.

1. Please introduce yourself to the audience and fans, Carrie

Hi everyone, my name is Carrie. I am the founder of Snowman Ski School and a ski instructor.

2. Let’s get to the point. After experiencing it for the past few days, what does Carrie think of the Ultra Jacket?

The best part is the one-touch heating feature. The Ultra Jacket has a three-stage active heating system to control the temperature you want. The location of the heating pad is also great, allowing me to stay warm at the most comfortable temperature without overheating or not reaching the temperature I expect.

3. As a professional skier and coach, Carrie, can you share the details you pay most attention to when choosing skis? Does the Ultra Jacket meet your expectations?

What I care about most is the style. It must look good. The simple and fashionable design of Ultra Jacket reflects the spirit and design features of the brand. The second is the number of pockets. Because I usually do photography while skiing, I must put a lot of photography tools in my pockets. The Ultra Jacket has as many as seven storage pockets, which is very practical for me. The third most important thing is the waterproof coefficient. The waterproof and breathable coefficient of 20,000 is great. For example, we encountered heavy rain during the shooting these days, and I was not worried about getting wet at all.

I am actually a person who is very afraid of cold. When I live in very cold places like New Zealand or Hokkaido in winter, I know that the Ultra Jacket can be heated with just one button. The most important thing is that it heats up very quickly, which makes me feel at ease.

4. Perhaps many viewers have already been following Carrie’s channel and your skiing instructional videos. Could you please share why you wanted to start shooting instructional videos and your original intention of establishing a ski school?

For me, the greatest significance of establishing a school and shooting teaching videos is that it can help many people learn to ski from not knowing how to ski. I see the sense of accomplishment and joy in their eyes, which brings me great satisfaction.

Especially when skiing, I will listen to a little bit of music. You will feel the freedom and the feeling of going wherever you want. You can immerse yourself in your own world. Skiing is an activity where you can spend time with yourself. I feel very very comfortable. Being able to share this feeling and emotion with more people is a very meaningful thing for me.

5. What plans does Carrie have for the future?

Because I really like TRANZEND, I am looking forward to some product development cooperation, but of course I’ll keep it a secret for now! Of course, I will continue to run my own Youtube channel and share more of the lifestyle that I love. Not only skiing, I have also lived in the Maldives for a while recently. In addition to skiing, I also like diving. Everyone is welcome to come to the Maldives to dive with me!
