As a snowboard and ski instructor, she is also passionate about diving, mountaineering, and other outdoor sports. Many viewers love her for her sunny and straightforward personality. We invited Gina to experience the all-new TRANZEND All-Terrain Temperature Control DuoLayer System; what were her thoughts?
Hello Gina—please introduce yourself to our viewers.
Hello everyone, I’m Gina. I’m a snowboard and ski instructor.
Although this is our first time collaborating with you, Gina, what was your first impression of TRANZEND?
I can tell the founder is a perfectionist when it comes to the brand, and this is clearly reflected in the products. After using them for a few days, I feel that almost every aspect has been considered!
In your opinion, what are the essential elements a ski jacket should have?
Waterproofing is very important for a ski jacket. The Ultra Shell’s two-way zipper is very convenient to pull up, especially since we need a wider range of motion for snowboarding. Pass pockets, vents—every feature needed for skiing has been accounted for! This product makes my skiing experience much more convenient, which is a big plus.

Speaking of the Ultra Shell hard-shell jacket, are there any other details that left a deep impression on you?
After opening the camera pocket on this Ultra Shell, you can put your phone inside to capture a first-person POV perspective. I can even use it to record some of my students' lessons, which is really convenient.
What about the mid-layer, the Ultra Puffer Air? Did you find it practical?
A heated mid-layer is the most practical thing for me because I’m someone who really hates the cold. It helps me immensely while skiing: when I stop to wait for others, want to enjoy the view, or am on the ski lift. These are times when it's easy to get very cold. Having an active heating system makes these moments much less painful (laughs). This will definitely be a warm layer I wear very frequently throughout the entire ski season.
We’ve heard many stories during our journey together; could you share one of your most memorable moments with the audience?
From diving and mountaineering to skiing now, some people have bravely tried something because of me, or even changed their life path and found their direction in life. Every time I receive messages like that from fans, I’m so moved that I almost cry.
So, I want to say to those who want to try skiing but always think they aren't athletic: you only live once! If you have the desire, you must take action and try it. Don't worry too much, or you'll regret it!
