Students, this marks Uncle Perry's third year with us! A familiar old friend to TRANZEND and a seasoned pro in everyone's eyes, he has been hitting the slopes with us for three years now. We are truly grateful to Perry for watching us grow, and more importantly, for personally putting TRANZEND's products through the most rigorous and extreme tests.
Through continuous testing and development, we have listened to Uncle Perry's feedback every year, striving to make our product design perfect. How does he feel about this year's decision to separate the hard-shell outer jacket and the insulating mid-layer into two individual pieces?
Uncle Perry:
By separating the mid-layer and the shell this time, we have retained all of TRANZEND's functionality without compromise, such as active heating and our signature design details. It makes me feel like it has truly entered a realm where it can be used 365 days a year across all four seasons.
Beyond the increased layering flexibility, are there any specific features you particularly like this time?
The POV camera pocket on the chest of the Ultra Shell! We are all used to holding action cameras, but I'll be honest, it actually affects my riding. The structure of the camera pocket is sturdy enough that it doesn't let the phone shake, allowing me to truly go hands-free while perfectly capturing my air time. It's a very unique combination of functional fashion, movement, and utility.

Entering our third year of collaboration, I feel that making such technology affordable is a truly difficult feat. Now that it's been three years, how do you feel about the journey?
This time, it really felt like we were all playing together! Working together to complete something. I think that's the essence of the ski lifestyle; it's a very personal sport, but at the same time, it’s about everyone coming together. This energy is truly amazing.
